Had a great dinner at Hartsyard with friends. The small restaurant had a good atmosphere and the service was efficient and polite. Staff were happy to recommend dishes and cocktails to match. We had a bit of everything and the highlights were - confit carrot, smoky sweet potato and that fried chicken! Dessert was yum too and the bill didn&#39;t make us cringe.

Continental Deli is a restaurant that fits in well with Newtown&#39;s diverse and down-to-earth style. There are set meals at noon, and the store also displays a whole cabinet of various canned goods and sauces, all of which are shipped directly from Europe. Here you can eat very classic European pickled fish and canned seafood, various cheeses and hams from Europe and Australia, and simple meals freshly made in the kitchen with these unique ingredients. Another major feature is the wine here. Various alcoholic beverages have won this restaurant a lot of popular awards and nominations shortly after its opening.

Lentil As Anything是家很酷的vegan自助餐厅，流动式菜谱，（我去那天刚好是Janpanese Inspired），自己选择付款金额。他家的Japanese pancakes是必！点！但我觉得比起pancakes它更像fritters！胖胖的主厨大叔坚持我再多来点[允悲]

餐厅的氛围很棒，非常友好也很现代化，我们经常和座位旁的其他客人聊天。餐厅也运营着一些工作室和文化项目。我们点了餐。饭菜很快就端上来了，很可口。唯一的缺点是巧克力和香蕉蛋糕做得有点儿过头。我们可以在餐厅一直聊天，然后根据自己的感觉和评价付款。绝对的值得一来。

The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, very friendly and modern, we chatted with other guests at our table. The restaurant also runs some workshops and cultural projects. We ordered our food. It came quickly and was delicious. The only downside was that the chocolate and banana cake was a bit overdone. We could have chatted for a long time and paid according to our feelings and comments. Definitely worth it.

It&#39;s always worth a trip to Newtown to eat here. Since living in Australia I have been on multiple occasions and even taken guests with me from abroad. For those of you who don&#39;t know how it works, you pay what you feel. The staff are all wonderful volunteers and the food is delicious. It&#39;s communal dining, the chai is decent (not steaming hot but it&#39;ll do!) and the menu changes often. Call ahead to find out what they have but I&#39;ve never been disappointed.

What an awesome place to get delicious vegan food and pay what you feel. You can also pay it forward too. Get in early as there was a line to get in as we left! Friendly environment and quick service. We will be back!!
